About Me
I have no connection to the site management and operation anymore.
I note that a lot of people are no longer coming in, and I must conclude that it was the change in the chat platform which has pushed them away. Therefore, I now only come by when I have a few spare minutes, mostly to see if any friends are around. (I'm only doing DMs now, so don't look for me in the lobby.) Anyone who doesn't catch me here but would like to reach me can do so via my website, listed below.
For those who I got to know in the years I was here (and at the predecessor MyGay and MyLesbian sites), I wish you all happiness in your lives, and should our paths cross again in the future, I hope it will be as friends.
Love,
Kymberleigh Richards

Education & Work
Education: Yes, I had one.
Employer: Myself. I'm a consultant.
Philosophy
Religion: (Putting this here so it will be noticed, even though it has little if anything to do with religious beliefs.)
I am tired of women posting "no MTF" on their profiles as if every transgender woman still has male genitalia. Yes, I get that lesbians don't want to see a penis on a woman. I also think there are a lot of delusional crossdressers who don't understand that.
A transgender woman who has had Gender Reassignment Surgery doesn't have a penis. She has labia. Those who are in the process of transition with the intent to have GRS probably shouldn't be involved intimately with females until they've had that change in genitalia, but they do belong here, if for no other reason than socialization.
To the crossdressers, or other MTFs who do not intend to have GRS: If you think you're going to be the one who changes the minds of the lesbian women here, YOU ARE WRONG. They don't buy the argument that your penis is a "male vagina", and I don't blame them for not buying it. Go hang out on our sister website, Trans Chat Zone (https://www.transchat.zone/).
To the born female women: Please accept that regardless of how those labia got there, they make a person female. A post-surgical transgender woman has made a commitment to the identity they know they are inside, and we know this to be true every bit as much as you know your own identity as a woman, as a female, and as a lesbian. I accept that you do not want to see a dick, much less have one inside you (and I feel the same way), but if that piece of meat is not there, your argument is no longer valid.
To those who already have had GRS and identify as women, as females, as lesbians: I shouldn't have to say anything to you. You already "get it".

Political Views: Liberal on some issues, moderate on other issues, conservative on a few issues.
I do not fear immigrants, and I support their wanting to come here to have better lives. In my experience, the vast majority want to be legal. The rhetoric and scare tactics used against them are lies.
I especially relate well to women of color. I have more of them in my :"real world" circle of friends than I do white women. And I cherish my friendships with them.

Favorite Quotes: "We plan our lives, but accidents control them."
(It was the last line of dialogue in a cheesy TV mini-series from the 1980s called The Last Convertible.)

Arts & Entertainment
Books: Favorite author is the late Robert Ludlum. I have all of his novels in paperback.
Otherwise, I am much more likely to read non-fiction and my library card is in constant use. Primary areas of interest are science, politics, and sociology.

There are a lot more but I didn't want to overwhelm by creating a top 30.

Television: MeTV, Antenna TV, Cozi, Decades and Retro. (If you don't know what those are, ask me.)
I was also a big fan of Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
I also watch all four of the Sunday morning news interview/analysis shows, mostly to shout back at the television set when a politician or government official is obviously lying. That's happened a lot more since January 20th, 2017.

Music: New Wave/Modern Rock (think Duran Duran, Echo & the Bunnymen, Talking Heads, the Smiths, A Flock of Seagulls) ...
I also like a lot of songs from other genres, but very little past the early 1990s ... NO rap or hip-hop, please!

Activities: NOTE: I am not interested in men or butch women. I will not reply to mail or friend requests from either and if you persist I will block you. Please honor my wishes and preferences, thank you.
(I also reject, without reading, friend requests from people who I have not already chatted with.)
PLEASE READ THIS!
I consider chat to be a place where friendly conversation can take place and we can forget, however briefly, the horrible things that are going on in the outside world. To that end, I tend to let my sense of humor run free ... so please try not to overreact to what I say sometimes.
