Recentish empty nester. Not running the kid around any longer so more time on my hands. Taking time away from work for myself. Traveling, looking into new hobbies, whatever strikes my fancy that I can afford. Figured I would come here to chat with other women to make some new friends.

I am a professional woman, mother, housekeeper, mentor, volunteer. I've was single since i was widowed many years ago now. Too busy raising kids to really establish relationships, and when I did try it just never feel right. I long felt something was missing. I started questioning several years ago, and after some coaxing and encouragement from loved ones, began carefully exploring. I now have close friends to share love with, I have enjoyed meeting others and learning from and sharing experiences. I hope this continues to be a place to build friendships and memories.
